The next week, she faced another match against Lee but was not able to retain her title. Then, Ariana faced Lee for the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational title, which was equally taken by Lee. The month of July, 2014 Nikki Bella participated in the match as Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only was there to face Nikki Bella. Then she was able to play Naomi in the Battleground event before the show. Ariana won over Naomi during this contest. Their rivalry developed in the aftermath. Over the course of summer, they wrestled with handicapped matches, as well as tag teams. In the summer of 2015 Ariana fought alongside other wrestling stars Alicia Fox Paige Bella Twins as well as Asuka. WWE announced in 2016 that Ariana had been released after two months.
